From empowerment programs and increased representation in government to leadership and skills development opportunities, Nigerian women continue to feel the positive impact of his people-centered policies.
One of the strongest voices amplifying this progress is Dr. Mary Idele, the APC National Woman Leader, whose leadership has brought renewed vigor, visibility, and unity to women across the country. At the recently concluded APC Enugu State Women Conference 2025, Dr. Idele’s leadership shone brightly with the following landmark achievements:
1. Endorsement of President Tinubu for 2027:
In a show of solidarity, Dr. Idele led women stakeholders to officially endorse President Tinubu for a second term, declaring with one voice: “No Vacancy in Aso Rock!” This endorsement is a testament to the confidence Nigerian women have in the President’s leadership and the tangible results his governance has delivered since 2023.
2. Inauguration of Senior Citizens:
Recognizing the contributions of senior citizens to the growth of the party and society, Dr. Idele championed their inauguration, giving them a platform to remain actively involved and celebrated within the APC structure.
3. Inauguration of APC Enugu Women Wing:
Another milestone was the formal launch of the APC Enugu Women Wing, designed to strengthen grassroots mobilization across the 17 LGAs of Enugu State. This structure gives women leaders a unified voice to drive empowerment programs, political participation, and community development.
