Betta Edu: APC group raise alarm, urges EFCC boss to emulate Nuhu Ribadu

Zonal Disabled Leader, APC National Youth Ambassadors Comr Isma'il Abdullah Ibrahim Writes President Tinubu expressing deep concern over PBAT administration's commmiment to fighting corruption and alleged suspicious attempt to reinstate Dr Betta Edu. The letter reads below:

"We must fight corruption, poverty, inconsistencies in policies, and many other problems confronting us. But don't pity me—I will live up to expectations." —President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Premium Times, 29th May, 2023.

Dear Mr President,

I am writing to bring to your attention the need for decisive action to combat corruption and uphold the integrity of your administration as the world is aware of the corrupt scandal of the suspended Minister Betta Edu whom her corrupt scandal has greatly tarnished the image of Nigeria at International level, there by weakening our International relationship with corrupt free countries of the world.

It's disheartening to read in a stern news.com, Business Day and Vanguard News on 16th July,2024  with the Headline "EFCC Silent As Betta Edu Allegedly Returns to Office" According to the news, the embattled suspended Minister(Betta Edu) took the Ministry letter head paper and wrote a condolence message to the the victim of Jos building collapse instead of writing the letter in her own personal paper as she was suspended from the Ministry. It's sad and distressed for the suspended Ministry to be behaving as if she's still a Minister in the ministry.

Your Excellency Sir, I commend your commitment to the "Renewed Hope Agenda" and your promise to fight corruption and lead Nigeria towards a prosperous future. It is in this spirit that I urge you to take bold steps to dismiss the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu. Her alleged involvement in corruption and using the Ministry letter head paper to write a condolence message instead of her personal paper has had significant negative impacts on the nation. Her scandals have caused suffering to the masses and hindered the efficient operation of humanitarian services. NPOWER beneficiaries have not received their stipends, small-scale business owners have struggled, and farmers have found it difficult to expand their operations. This corruption has further weakened Nigeria's economy. And with this hardship it's sad and distress to allow this woman to indirectly using the Ministry for her own selfish motives. Her coming back again will never do Nigerians honour but rooted our honours in dishonour .

Your Excellency Sir, we don't know how attached the present EFCC Chairman is to Betta Edu that makes him silent on the investigation after knowing that the World has  knows the scandal! The deaf that can't hear and has now heard about her scandal, the blind that can't see has now seen the scandal due to the suffering her scandal has inflicted on us, the physically challenged that can't walk has managed and walked by finding facts on her ugly corrupt  scandal.

The EFCC Boss should fear God and emulate from the former EFCC Boss Nuhu Ribadu and do his work without fear and prejudice.

Mr President, it is crucial to demonstrate to the world that your administration does not tolerate corruption or "sacred cows." By dismissing corrupt leaders and appointing individuals with integrity, you can pave the way for the growth and development of our country.

I also urge you to consider appointing a Minister who understands and advocates for people with disabilities. We need a leader who will work for both the able-bodied and those with disabilities, ensuring equal opportunities for all Nigerians.

May God continue to bless your administration with wisdom and success.

Thank you for your dedication to our nation.

May God bless President Bola Ahmed Tinubu!

 May God bless Nigeria!

 Thank you, Mr President!
