Northern Youth with disabilities writes Tinubu, Appeal for the appointment of Dr Halimat Adenike Tejousho as humanitarian affairs and poverty alleviation Minister

In an open letter addressed to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and made available to our correspondent by Kamal Albarnawi , 
Vice chairman of the Northern Youth with disabilities group appealing president Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint humanitarian activist and founder of Queen Adenike Tejousho Foundation Dr Halimat Adenike Tejousho as minister of humanitarian affairs and poverty alleviation to replace the embattled suspended minister Dr Betta Edu. 

" We, the Northern Youths with Disabilities Forum, write to you with an earnest appeal for the appointment of Queen Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho as the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation" The letter reads in part. 

The group commend Dr. Tejuosho's unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes proven track record of advocating for the marginalized and vulnerable in the society adding that Her extensive experience and dedication make her an ideal candidate to spearhead initiatives aimed at alleviating poverty and addressing humanitarian issues. 

"We are confident that her leadership will bring about significant positive changes and improve the lives of many, particularly within the disabled community. In return, we pledge our full support and assure you that we will mobilize the Northern Disabilities community to actively support your administration in the upcoming 2027 elections"
