Gombe Governor Announces fresh Appointments


Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved some key appointments to enhance the State’s administration and advance its development objectives 

The appointments were announced In press statement shared by Ismaila Uba Misilli Director-General (DG) Press Affairs Government House, Gombe on Tuesday.

According to the statement,  "The Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi who conveyed the Governor’s approval said the development was informed by the new appointees’ proven track records of achievements, loyalty, experience and commitment to service.

The new appointees are: Shehu Umar Yerima Abdullahi – Commissioner- Nominee, Abubakar Usman Barambu – Special Adviser, Shu’aibu Iliya Kashere – Special Adviser, Habu Ali Kalshingi – Special Adviser, Audu Dan Reme – Special Adviser and Mu’azu Garba – Special Adviser.

Others are; J. B. Kwallams – Special Adviser, Jamilu Ahmed Shabewa – Special Adviser, Damina Sardauna – Special Adviser, Ibrahim Cheldu – Special Adviser, Mohammed T. Chiroma – Special Adviser, Chidebelu Cornelius Ewezie – Special Adviser (Inter-Community Relations), Faruk Aliyu – Special Adviser, Ibrahim Buba – Special Adviser, Usman Jahun – Special Adviser, Mamman Alkali – Special Adviser (Legislative Matters), Shu’aibu Umar – Galadima- Special Adviser, Garba Usman Dankafanchan – Special Adviser, Haruna Mohammed Samanja – Special Adviser, Umar Bello Yayaru – Deputy Chief of Staff (North)

The SSG further disclosed that the approval also contains the names of Bello Sulaiman – Deputy Chief of Staff (Central), Abubakar Dantata – Deputy Chief of Staff (South), Jamilu Ja’afaru – Director General (Federal Gov’t Relation & Abuja Liaison Office), Garba Umaru – Senior Special Assistant (SSA I), Magret Bitrus – Senior Special Assistant (SSA I), Saleh Shu’aibu Galadima – Senior Special Assistant (SSA I), Yohanna Nahari – Senior Special Assistant (SSA I), Ahmed Yusuf Gwadum – Senior Special Assistant (SSA I).

All the appointments are with immediate effect.
