SAVWIN has successfully distributed 400 books to pupils and students of AlMUNEER International School and BORNO SPECIAL SCHOOL, Modugunari in Maiduguri.

The book donation was made possible through the generous support of Books For Africa, a leading organization committed to ending the book famine in Africa.
During the distribution, 200 books were presented to Almuneer International School, while another 200 books were donated to Borno Special School, Maduganari — a school that caters to children with special needs.

Speaking at the event, representatives of SAVWIN Miyausa Wayuta, Mshelia said the goal was to ensure that all children, including those with disabilities, have access to quality learning materials to improve their reading culture and academic performance.

"We are grateful to Books For Africa for this donation. By reaching both mainstream and special schools, we are sending a message that no child should be left behind in the journey to literacy,” the team stated.

The management and teachers of both schools expressed appreciation to Books For Africa and SAVWIN noting that the books will go a long way in supporting teaching and learning.

This intervention aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education and our shared mission to build a generation of readers and leaders in Borno State.
