Dr. Zainab Jamil Gwamna’s Family Trust Care Foundation, Beautiful Gate Donate 100 Wheelchairs to PWDs in Gombe

The _Family Trust Care Foundation_, founded and led by Chief Executive Officer _Dr. Zainab Jamil Gwamna_, in partnership with the _Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre_, has donated 100 wheelchairs to persons with disabilities in Gombe State. 

The donation is part of a broader humanitarian effort to promote inclusion, dignity, and independent living for vulnerable groups.

Speaking at the presentation, Dr. Zainab said the initiative goes beyond providing mobility aids.

_“This initiative is more than the distribution of wheelchairs. It is about restoring hope, expanding opportunities, and ensuring that persons with disabilities can participate fully in society,”_ she said.

She noted that the wheelchairs would improve beneficiaries’ access to education, healthcare, employment, and social activities. She reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to ensuring that every member of society has the opportunity to contribute and thrive.

Dr. Zainab also highlighted the Foundation’s other humanitarian interventions, which include medical outreaches, educational support, food relief, and empowerment programmes for women, youth, and persons with disabilities.

She commended the _Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre_ for its long-standing work in rehabilitation, advocacy, skills acquisition, educational support, and community reintegration.

_“An inclusive society is one where no one is left behind. The needs of vulnerable groups must remain at the heart of policies and programmes for sustainable development,”_ she added, while also conveying a goodwill message from _Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna_.

According to her, Dr. Gwamna urged beneficiaries to remain confident and determined, stressing that disability should never define their potential.  
_“You are valued, respected, and full of promise,”_ he said.

The event concluded with the presentation of _₦5,000_ to each beneficiary by the Family Trust Care Foundation to assist with the maintenance of the wheelchairs.

The presentation was attended by government representatives, development partners, community leaders, media practitioners, and beneficiaries — all united in support of disability inclusion and the wellbeing of vulnerable groups.
