NANCES Passes Vote of Confidence on Kwara Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak


In a press release issued on Saturday 5th July, 2015, the National Association of Nigeria Colleges of Education Students (NANCES) has passed a Vote of Confidence on the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazak, following what it described as "purposeful leadership and exceptional commitment to education and youth empowerment."


The resolution was reached during the association's Senate Sitting, after a comprehensive assessment of Governor Abdulrazak’s administration, particularly in areas affecting Nigerian students and the education sector in Kwara State.


According to the press statement signed by Sen. Kur Isaac Ushahemba, Senate President of NANCES, the association applauded the Governor’s consistent support for tertiary institutions, timely interventions across key sectors, and his student-friendly, open-door policy.

“Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak has not only shown unwavering dedication to inclusive governance but also demonstrated a clear vision that reflects the aspirations of Nigerian students,” the statement reads.

NANCES noted notable achievements in infrastructural development, education reforms, and youth-inclusive policymaking under Governor Abdulrazak's leadership.


The association reaffirmed its unalloyed support for the Governor and called on him to remain steadfast in his people-oriented initiatives. It also expressed readiness to collaborate with the Kwara State Government in advancing the educational interests of students within and beyond the state.
