Aminu Abdullahi Yarima, Chairman of the Gombe State Deaf PDP Mobilizations Forum, has resigned from his position, citing the People's Democratic Party's (PDP) consistent arrogance and discrimination towards people with disabilities. Yarima, from Gadam, expressed frustration with the PDP's lack of benefits and opportunities for people with disabilities.
In contrast, Yarima praised the All Progressives Congress's (APC) friendly approach and commitment to assisting people with disabilities, highlighting Governor Inuwa Yahaya Mohammed's historic implementation of the Gombe State Disabilities Bill.
Yarima's resignation letter concluded with a strong statement: "I can no longer serve a party that wastes my efforts. I'm moving forward." This development may have significant implications for the political landscape in Gombe State.
