 The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), marked the 2024 International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) with a strong commitment to advancing inclusive healthcare and social welfare systems.


Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving inclusive healthcare and social welfare for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). He applauded the ministry's dedication to inclusion and highlighted the relevance of this year's IDPD theme, "Amplifying the Leadership of Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future."
