June 12: ED QAT Foundation, Dr Halimat Adenike Tejuosho Celebrate Democracy Day!

Humanitarian Activist and CEO of Queen Adenike Tejuosho (QAT) Foundation, Dr Halimat Adenike Tejuosho in statement shared on her verified Facebook page said "Democracy Day is a significant occasion celebrated in various countries around the world to commemorate the principles of democracy, freedom, and liberty. It is a day to reflect on the importance of democratic values and to honor the struggles and sacrifices made by individuals in the pursuit of democracy"

She added that "The celebration of Democracy Day typically involves various activities such as seminars, conferences, panel discussions, symposiums, and public gatherings focused on democracy-related issues. Political leaders, activists, scholars, and citizens come together to engage in discussions about the importance of democracy, the challenges it faces, and ways to strengthen democratic ininstitutions" 

She commended President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration for organizing Public Lecture a Day before Democracy Day in respect of 25 years of uninterrupted Democacry in Nigeria as well as in commemoration of Democracy Day Celebration in Nigeria.
