The Chief Whip, House of Representatives, Hon Usman Bello Kumo (Khadimul Ummah) visited his constituency on Saturday 8th June, 2024 where he met with traditional leaders,youth, persons with disabilities and other people of his constituency of Akko Federal Constituency in Gombe state.
The member of the House of Representatives visited all the three Emiratesin his constituency, which include Gona Emirate, Pindiga and Akko Emirates. During the visit, he thanked the leaders of the community and the people of Akko Federal Constituency for their daily support and prayers, where he related the success he is getting in his representation to the prayers and the support they are giving him, and he called on them to continue to pray for the APC government especially in Gombe state, under the leadership of the Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya and President Bola Ahmed Tinibu.
The Member of the House of Representatives assured the people of his determination to continue serving them as usual without getting tired. He then announced some new projects that will be implemented including the construction of a hospital in Zongomari, the construction of the Wuro Biriji road, the construction of a hospital in Kaltanga in Kashere, around Tumu Hospital, the construction of libraries in Kashere town and other major projects that will be carried out. they should be started within the next few weeks.
During his visit to all the Emirates, he gave all the executives of the APC from the district (ward) level, Local Government, and the state that are under Akko Federal Constituency the sum of fivety thousands (₦50,000) Naira. Emirs, Chiefs, dignitaries and the rest of the community were not left behind, everyone witnessed and benefited from the visit.
The member of the House of Representatives and Chief Whip of the house also gave BOXER motorcycles to five young people, one of his constituent was given a house as a gift, and another one was given the sum of ₦500,000 to buy a house.
Hon. Kumo also gave the sum of one million and sallah clothes to over 300 people living with disabilities from his constituency and they include the Deaf, Blinds and Physically Challenged.
In their respective votes of thanks, the dignitaries of Gona and Pindiga Emirates HRH Alhaji Umar Abdulkadir Abdussalam and HRH Alhaji Dr Muhammad Seyoji Ahmad, praised the leadership style of the member of the House of Representatives, and thanked him for his frequent visits and the service he provides to the people every day, and they asked Allah Ta'ala to give him good protection and to increase his dignity.
The Chairman of the Joint Association of persons with disabilities from Akko LGA Mallam Saidu Mai Buta also expressed gratitude to the member house of representative for the kind gesture toward his fellow people living with disabilities describing it as unprecedented.
Dignitaries during the visits include Speaker, Gombe State House of Assembly Rt Hon. Abubakar Mohammed Luggerewo, Akko LGA Chairman Hon. Muhammad Danladi Adamu and His Deputy Hon. Habib Hassan Kumo, Member Akko North Hon. Musa Mohammad Wuro Biriji, Member Akko West, Hon Abdullahi Abubakar Akko LGA APC Chairman Alh. Marka Mohammed among other dignitaries.
