CMD FTH Gombe Commends Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya for Exemplary Leadership

The Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe (FTHG), Dr. Yusuf M. Abdullahi, has praised Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, for his outstanding leadership and contributions to healthcare development in the state.

In a statement released by Haruna Harunfat and made available to newsmen by Cmrd. Ismail Hassan Ahmad, Dr. Abdullahi expressed gratitude for the governor’s initiatives aimed at improving healthcare access for vulnerable populations.

The statement highlighted that on Thursday, March 23, 2024, Dr. Abdullahi, also known as the "#DIGITALCMD," led a large gathering to welcome Governor Yahaya at Lawanti Airport in Gombe upon his return from Abuja.

Reflecting on the governor’s impact, the CMD noted the government’s recent decision to hand over a large hospital in Kagarawal, Gombe, to the management of the Federal Teaching Hospital. This move, according to Dr. Abdullahi, ensures easier access to quality healthcare for underserved communities.

He further commended Governor Yahaya’s commitment to standardizing the hospital and credited these achievements to the governor’s visionary leadership and the dedication of FTHG management under his stewardship.

The statement concluded with prayers for divine guidance and protection for Governor Yahaya and Dr. Abdullahi in their continued efforts to advance healthcare services in Gombe State.

“God bless the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe. God bless Gombe State. God bless Nigeria at large,” the statement added.
