SSAP Abba Isa Distributes Assistive Devices To PWDs At Niger-Delta Disability Praise Festival

In fulfillment of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Comrade Mohammed Abba Isa, has distributed some assistive devices to Persons With Disabilities to aid their mobility and ease their pain of accessing public infrastructures.

The distribution, which was done on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, took place at the inaugural edition of the Niger-Delta Disability Praise Festival in Port-harcourt Rivers State.



Comrade Abba Isa, who was a Special Guest of Honor at the occasion, attended the event alongside his Chief of Staff, Barr. Yusuf Iyodo.

The Disability Praise Festival,  which was organized by Tizis Events, is the frst edition, and it is focused on harnessing the various abilities in disability; through, music, comedy, drama etc. 


According to the Managing Director of Tizis Events, Mr Ziriki Timiepiri, it was the first time in the history of the Niger Delta Development to hold a program of this magnitude for persons living with Disability in the region.

Delivering his keynote address, the Senior Special Assistant to the President submitted that through music, comedy, drama, and various forms of artistic expression, we have the opportunity to showcase the immense talent and resilience that exists within the Niger-Delta disability community. 

He added that the festival is not just about entertainment; but it is about breaking down barriers and challenging stereotypes.

The presidential aide stressed that the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to advancing the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities, and events like the Niger-Delta Disability Praise Festival serve as a reminder of the importance of the administration’s ongoing efforts in this regard.
