Prominent philanthropist and community leader, Nu'uman Adamu Yuguda, has officially announced that he will not be contesting for any political position in the 2027 elections.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Yuguda expressed deep appreciation to the people of Dukku and supporters across Gombe State for the overwhelming love, support, and calls urging him to join the 2027 political race.
According to him, after extensive consultations with elders and stakeholders, he decided not to seek any elective office, stressing that his humanitarian and developmental activities were never driven by political ambition.
He explained that his commitment to serving humanity and supporting communities across Dukku, Nafada, Funakaye, Billiri, Gombe, Akko, and Balanga local government areas would continue regardless of holding political office.
Yuguda further revealed that several major developmental and humanitarian projects are already underway and will soon be unveiled for the benefit of the people.
While addressing supporters and political stakeholders, he appealed for calm, understanding, and unity among party members and the people of Gombe State.
He also sympathized with aspirants who were unsuccessful in the APC consensus arrangements, urging them and their supporters to accept the outcome in good faith and avoid division, anger, or political resentment.
The respected community leader called on citizens to fully support the candidates presented by the APC, particularly the Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, alongside other party candidates at all levels.
Yuguda reaffirmed his commitment to continuing humanitarian interventions and community development efforts across Gombe State, pledging to remain close to the people and contribute positively to society.
