The Sardaunan Gombe Youths Organization (SGYO), under the leadership of Hon. Bashir Sulaiman Garkuwa, has extended warm congratulations to His Excellency, Alhaji Dr. Jamil Isiyaku Gwamna, on his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate of their party.
In a statement issued on behalf of its members, the group described the nomination as well-deserved and historic, noting that it reflects Dr. Gwamna’s proven capacity, unwavering commitment, and years of dedicated service to the people of Gombe State.
The group also commended the Governor of Gombe State, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya (Danmajen Gombe), for facilitating a consensus process that led to Dr. Gwamna’s emergence, describing the decision as a demonstration of visionary leadership and unity within the party.
According to SGYO, Dr. Gwamna’s emergence is a clear indication of the confidence and trust reposed in his leadership by party stakeholders and the people of Gombe State. The organization emphasized that his track record of integrity, inclusiveness, and development-driven vision gives hope for a brighter future for the state.

The statement concluded with prayers for Allah’s guidance, protection, and wisdom upon the candidate as he prepares for the task ahead.
