The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has congratulated the Founder and President of Belemaoil Producing Limited, Engr. Tein T.S. Jack-Rich, CON, on the occasion of his 51st birthday, describing him as a leading figure in indigenous entrepreneurship and youth development.

In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of Nigerian youths, the President of the NYCN, Ambassador Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo, praised Jack-Rich’s achievements in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, noting his role as a trailblazer who defied industry odds to build a successful indigenous energy company.

According to the council, Jack-Rich made history by establishing the first indigenous oil exploration and production company to emerge from an oil-producing community in the Niger Delta. The NYCN noted that this feat was achieved during a difficult period marked by insecurity and declining indigenous investments, prior to the Federal Government’s Amnesty Programme in the region.

The council described the Belemaoil founder as a symbol of resilience and possibility, whose journey reflects the values of hard work, vision, consistency and determination. It added that his success story continues to inspire young Nigerians to pursue excellence despite challenges.

Ambassador Sukubo further highlighted Jack-Rich’s commitment to youth development and empowerment, stating that his initiatives have positively impacted many young people across the country and encouraged them to become productive contributors to national development.

Beyond entrepreneurship, the NYCN acknowledged Jack-Rich’s humanitarian and philanthropic efforts, noting that his support for vulnerable and less-privileged Nigerians—particularly youths—has provided relief and hope to many communities.

The council said it joined family, friends and associates in celebrating Jack-Rich’s life and achievements, while praying for continued wisdom, good health and success in his future endeavours.

The statement was signed by Ambassador Sukubo Saraigbe Sukubo (GCONY), President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria and Secretary of the NYCN and made available to ews men on 28th January, 2026.
