The APC Enugu State Women Wing has reinforced its grassroots structures by distributing APC women wrappers to all 260 ward women leaders, their deputies, and local government women executives during its executive meeting.
In a statement signed by the media representative of the APC Enugu State Women Wing, Dr. Cynthia Agbo, the initiative was described as a “practical demonstration of the leadership’s commitment to empowering women and deepening party loyalty across wards and local governments.”
Led by the State Woman Leader, Prof. Amaka Onu, the program also emphasized the importance of women as the bedrock of grassroots mobilization. Prof. Onu noted, “This is not just about distributing wrappers; it is about building confidence, unity, and commitment among our women leaders across the state.”
Expressing gratitude, one of the ward leaders said, “We are truly encouraged by this recognition. These gestures remind us that our efforts at the grassroots matter and will continue to be rewarded.” Others echoed their readiness to redouble efforts in strengthening the party’s presence across communities.
Reassuring their loyalty, the women pledged total support and dedication to Prof. Amaka Onu and the state leadership of the APC. They affirmed their readiness to drive massive grassroots mobilization and contribute significantly to the party’s success in the 2027 general elections and other electoral contests.
The meeting concluded with renewed optimism, as APC women across Enugu State declared their commitment to unity, resilience, and political victory.
