Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho has been awarded an honorary doctorate degree in transformational leadership, social work, and community service (honoris causa).
The award ceremony took place at the Nigerian National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja, and was organized by the Institute of Leadership Manpower and Management during its 29th Leadership Manpower Award Celebration. The event featured several honorary doctorate awardees, including the Deputy Majority Leader of the Nigerian House of Representatives who was recognized for better representation and contributions to national development, Minister of State for Youth Development, Hon. Olawande Emmanuel Ayodele among others.
Tejuosho was recognized for her humanitarian activities,transformational leadership, social work, and community service having empowered many youth, women, widows, vulnerable and PWDs across Nigeria through her Queen Adenike Tejuosho Foundation.
Speaking to journalists about her award, Tejuosho emphasized the importance of listening, patience, and mentorship in leadership. She also highlighted President Tinubu's role as an exemplary leader who has mentored many individuals toward success and greatness.
