The Secretary to Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has joined hundreds of leaders to felicitate with the Muslim ummah on the occasion of this year's Eid- el-Fitr celebration.
Prof Njodi in a goodwill message, Congratulated the Muslim for the successful completion of the Ramadan fasting which ushered in the Eid- el-Fitr Sallah celebration and harps on the need for fervent prayers for peaceful co-existance among all and sundry for the betterment of our dear Gombe State and country especially as economic hardship bites harder owing to the fuel subsidy removal in addition to the recent increased of Electricity tariff.
" Ramadan has come and gone, let us imbibe and maintain the lessons of, sacrifice, selflessness ,togetherness,tolerance, and prayers learnt during the holy Month "
While the present administration under Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON, Chairman Northern State Governors Foum has continued providing support to cushion the devastating effects of hardship experience by the citizenry especially the less privileged and vulnerable, Professor Njodi enjoined people not to be deterred but to remain focused and hopefully for a better future.
The SSG said,the present administration under Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya Government is committed to using the available resources to provide democracy dividends for the overall development of the state and appealed for the support of the entire citizens of the State to enable him succeed.
