President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) will on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, pay a historic visit to Imo State, where he is scheduled to commission a series of transformative projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma. The visit, according to stakeholders, symbolizes unity, development, and a shared vision for advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda across the South East.
In a statement issued by APC South East Zonal Chairman, Dr. Ijeoma Arodiogbu, and shared with newsmen by Dr. Cynthia Agbo, she congratulated Governor Uzodimma on his sterling performance, describing him as “a patriotic leader committed to inclusive development.” She further commended President Tinubu for his unwavering dedication to regional progress, stressing that the visit underscores the President’s commitment to ensuring that no part of Nigeria is left behind in the Renewed Hope drive.
The projects slated for commissioning include major infrastructural upgrades, hospital renovations, and the establishment of modern educational facilities—initiatives expected to significantly improve the quality of life for Imo citizens and strengthen the state’s economic base.
Speaking further, Dr. Arodiogbu said: “Governor Uzodimma has demonstrated visionary leadership in driving growth and service delivery. His commitment to development is a model other governors should emulate, especially in building infrastructure and creating opportunities for their people.”
She concluded with a direct message to the people of Imo: “This visit by Mr. President is not just about projects; it is a reaffirmation that Imo State and the South East remain central to Nigeria’s future. I urge our people to see this as the beginning of greater federal attention, unity, and prosperity for the region.”
The event is expected to attract APC leaders, traditional rulers, and party faithful across the South East, who see it as a renewed partnership between the Federal Government and Imo State in delivering on the Renewed Hope Promise.
