Happy New Month and Independence Day: Dr. Ijeoma Arodiogbu Celebrates Nigeria @65, Welcomes President Tinubu to Imo State



The All Progressives Congress (APC) South East Zonal Chairman, Dr. Ijeoma Arodiogbu, has extended warm felicitations to Nigerians on the occasion of a new month and the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary, describing the day as a symbol of resilience, unity, and renewed hope.

In a statement issued by Dr. Arodiogbu and shared with newsmen by Dr. Cynthia Agbo (PhD), he warmly welcomed His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), to Imo State today, Tuesday, September 30, 2025, on an official visit to commission landmark projects in commemoration of Nigeria’s Independence Day.

Dr. Arodiogbu described the visit as a historic milestone for the South East, reflecting the President’s genuine commitment to inclusivity, national unity, and the advancement of development under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He lauded Governor Hope Uzodimma for his visionary leadership and transformation in infrastructure, workers’ welfare, and economic empowerment, especially his landmark decision to raise the minimum wage to ₦104,000, which he said has made Imo a pacesetter in good governance.

Dr. Arodiogbu also saluted APC leaders across the South East for their dedication and teamwork in strengthening the party’s vision and expanding its influence in the region.

Reassuring his loyalty, Dr. Arodiogbu reaffirmed the South East zone’s unwavering support for President Tinubu, stressing that the visit will further strengthen the partnership between the Federal Government, Imo State, and the South East in building a more inclusive and prosperous Nigeria.

“As we celebrate a new month and Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, I call on all citizens to embrace unity, resilience, and renewed patriotism. Together, under President Tinubu’s leadership, we will continue to build a nation that works for everyone,” Dr. Arodiogbu declared.
