Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the North-East Zone express their deep gratitude to HRM Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho for her visit to Borno State, despite her busy schedule. She conducted a street outreach to assist those displaced by floods, providing relief items.
In statement by the zonal disabled leader of the group comrade Abdullahi Ismail Ibrahim, they commend her leadership and humanitarian efforts, praying for Allah's blessings upon her. The group emphasize their appreciation and say they are indebted to her for her love and solidarity towards humanity.
Inclusive Reporters Learnt that Adenike Tejuosho also paid a visit to Shehu of Bornu Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Ibn Umar Garba El-Kanemi and his wife and did a street reachout to displaced persons affected by the flood at Muna road 505 in Maiduguri, and gave 10k each in an envelope to 100 people
Dr Halimat further distributed items to the flood victims and displaced persons. The items includes clothes for children, blankets, mosquitoes nets , rice, indomie etc
