A Call to Action: Supporting Special Needs Children in Gombe State, By Uncle Muhsin.

By Musin Ibrahim Jibo (Uncle Muhsin)

What I witnessed yesterday during our program, sponsored by Prissy's family talkshow, was truly disheartening. Blind and deaf students are in desperate need of our assistance. The blind lack essential tools like a mobility stick, hindering their movement. Additionally, there is a shortage of writing and reading materials for them. Deaf students lack necessary equipment for their education, and there's a scarcity of basic care, including food and medicine.

Many people who were there yesterday were crying, seeing the lives of those students. Even my little son, my brother's child, asked me today, "Do those children with special needs have parents?" I didn't know we had children suffering like this in Gombe State. It's because of Sister Prissy's Family Talkshow's helping hand that brought it to my attention.

Sister Prissy's Family Talkshow, I don't know how many parents prayed for you yesterday, I don't know how many children with special needs prayed for you, I don't know how many people prayed for you. What I do know is we will remember you till our last breath, we will pray for you till our last breath. One happier thing is she will also help some of them with a scholarship and some materials that will assist them.

Before, I was solely dedicated to aiding typical students, but now, we will also aim to support children with special needs with the resources available to us. I was unaware of the existence of this special school in Gombe until Sister Prissy's Family Talkshow brought it to my attention.

Let's not wait for others to step in; let's offer help with whatever we can. Your generosity, no matter how small, will make a difference. God will bless you for extending a helping hand to those in need.

I take this moment to reach out to our wealthiest individuals, politicians, and anyone capable of assisting these special needs children. Your support can make a significant impact, and may God bless you abundantly for your compassion and generosity.
